about
"Pievu" dishes combine modern seasonal cuisine and Lithuanian traditions. Products for the dishes are sourced from organic and sustainable local farms. "Pievu" food is always fresh, healthy and adapted to modern nutritional standards. Every season, efforts are made to present guests not only with a new menu, but also with a menu concept, so every time a guest visits the restaurant, the restaurant has something new to offer.
Since the name of the restaurant is "Pievos", after mowing the meadows after the summer, the idea was born to prepare a hay-smoked duck, which is then glazed with Lithuanian honey and juniper berries. And the duck is served with burnt butter sauce with pickled unripe currants and salt-fried celery root.
The suggested price of the "Gastronomy Week" tasting menu per person is 40 EUR.
