Just like every year when the most beautiful holiday of the year - Christmas - approaches, the Birštonas youth club together with the Birštonas open youth space organizes a festive candle-making education. As of December 13, a real candle-making workshop will once again be located in Birštonas open youth space!
Unlike before, this year we will not only light candles for ourselves, our relatives and friends, but also contribute to helping Ukrainian soldiers by making trench candles for them and especially needed in the cold season, these candles will not only warm Ukrainian soldiers, but will help in cooking, drying clothes, and defending the freedom of all of us.
We would like to invite everyone to help the Ukrainian soldiers by donating candles, wax, clean and still usable cans. All these materials are perfect for recycling and making new candles.
With all the materials we collected and purchased together, we will light the trench candles on December 13-14, in Birštonas open youth space from 4 p.m.
