The discussion festival "Būtent!" is an open, non-political, free event, the purpose of which is to promote the culture of discussion and listening, tolerance for different points of view, civic engagement and improving the quality of decisions important to society in the country. The word "Exactly!" reflects that moment of the discussion, when the participants of the discussion, having presented their arguments, reach a mutual agreement and understanding. The aim is for the festival to become a place for such consensus, opinion formation, creation of a common vision of the state, which will provide inspiration for real business and political decisions.
Inspirational "Exactly!" draws from the long-standing Almedalen discussion forum in Sweden, similar events in other Scandinavian countries, as well as Arvamusfestival in Estonia and Lampa in Latvia, and other Democracy Festivals family events in the Nordic countries.
