about

"Bouquet of Melodies" - from classical to jazz compositions.

Performers: Gediminas Dalinkevičius (violin) and Povilas Jaraminas (piano).

"The most important thing for me is that the music that plays allows people to chat and relax. Music is not a commodity, not something wrapped in cellophane that can be worn, sold, exchanged. It is a means for people to communicate." (Gediminas Dalinkevičius).
"Bouquet of Melodies" is a concert full of freedom, simplicity, but also diversity. Listeners will hear both classical and jazz. Violinist Gediminas Dalinkevičius and pianist Povilas Jaraminas will perform concert pieces for violin and piano as well as solo piano. According to them, it will be beautiful music, not pretending to be something special, but tested by time and life. G. Dalinkevičius, who conducts the concert, can change the order of the works, take a little longer or shorter - but this is not so important. The most important thing is to communicate with the audience, to maintain connection and attention. Rest and chat. And maybe, when the emotions coincide, you can feel togetherness - after all, these are the most beautiful moments in human communication.
Violinist Gediminas Dalinkevičius in 1962. graduated from Kaunas Juozas Gruodis Technical School of Music, 1968. - Lithuanian State Conservatory. in 1972 he became the director of the House of Composers in 1975. head of the Lithuanian State Philharmonic, deputy director, and since 1988 was the creator, artistic director, and conductor of the Kaunas Chamber Orchestra. Since 1992 was the conductor and soloist of the international orchestra "Solisti Baltia".
He is an old friend of Paliesias Manor. Together with Povilas Jaramin and other musicians, G. Dalinkevičius was one of the first to record chamber music CDs in the Paliesius manor studio. And most importantly, together with other musicians, he gave numerous concerts organized by Paliesius Manor restorers to the schoolchildren of Ignalina, Švenčionėlii, Švenčioni, Visaginas, and Utena districts. More than 6,000 schoolchildren visited and listened to classical music concerts in the newly built, then unheated Paliesias manor concert hall "Pasaga". After these concerts, rumors began to spread that this is a great chamber hall. G. Dalinkevičius does not remember another such event in Lithuania, he calls it a real epic - this is one of the reasons that encourages the musician to return to the Paliesius mansion.
Pianist Povilas Jaraminas is an excellent improviser and jazz interpreter. He is one of the first fosterers of jazz in Lithuania. Performer in 1967 graduated from MK Čiurlionis School of Arts, 1972. – Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater (prof. O. Šteinbergaitė's piano class). The pianist worked on stage with such famous vocalists as Irena Milkevičiūtė, Gehamas Grigorianas, Eduardas Kaniava, Vytautas Juozapaitis, Judita Leitaitė and others. Since 1980 accompanied Virgil Noreika. He combines his concert activities with his work at MK Čiurlionis Arts Gymnasium, he is an expert concertmaster. Awarded the medal of the Order of Gediminas.
