Birštonas Tourism Information Center (TIC) was established on 4 April 2006. Major business activity of TIC is to compile, systemize, and distribute information about Birštonas Municipality tourism resources.

Our achievements:

2007 - The State Department of Tourism awarded the "Angel of Success" to the Birštonas TIC, a laureate of the "Most Successful Tourism Project 2007" competition, for a cultural route publication "Dailininko Nikodemo Silvanavičiaus pėdomis" (In the Footsteps of the Painter Nikodemas Silvanavičius).

2008 - The State Department of Tourism acknowledged the Birštonas TIC project "Tourism Information and Marketing Implementation in Birštonas" as the most successful non-profit tourism marketing project in 2008.

2009 - The State Department of Tourism awarded the third place to the Birštonas TIC project "Organisation and Dissemination of Educational Events Promoting Local Tourism" in the "Most Successful Non-Profit Tourism Marketing Project 2009" category.

2010 - The Lithuanian Association of the Exhibition Stand Constructors awarded the second place to the Birštonas TIC stand in the "Best Vivattur Expo Stand 2010" competition (contractor UAB "Expoera", architect Rimvydas Taletas).

2010 - The State Department of Tourism awarded the third place to the Birštonas TIC in the "Most Successful Tourist Information Centre 2010" competition.

2011 - UAB "Visus Plenus" and VšĮ "Turizmo akademija" acknowledged the presentation of Birštonas in the exhibition Vivattur 2011 as most impressive and awarded a special prize "Impression".
