The first hotel in Lithuania with Mind SPA opened in Birštonas

The hotel was designed from the ground up to meet the latest needs of this dynamic sector. It offers 32 rooms, co-working spaces, relaxation areas with a view of nature, a restaurant, a technologically innovative event space and the first Mind SPA in Lithuania.

"Birštonas's direction towards business tourism is trending, with growing demand for conferences and team events. Developed infrastructure and natural resources create opportunities for the resort to focus on a new tourism segment – digital nomads, people combining work and vacation, and other remote workers. For this purpose, resort tourism service providers are being mobilized, cooperation is being carried out with foreign partners, and a work-from-home guide is being prepared. Hotel "LAJOS" expands the options for the business tourism sector in the resort, offering another, unique combination of work and rest," says Rūta Kapačinskaitė, head of the Birštonas Tourism Information Center.

Instead of a traditional SPA, a new concept

Hotel "LAJOS" is a family business, the idea of which was born back in 2020. The hotel was built on the site of a former sanatorium. Its creators, having abandoned the traditional resort SPA model, decided to implement a different business concept – to develop a facility adapted for working holidays. The construction of the hotel continued with interruptions for almost five years.
"The idea arose from the need to rethink the relationship between productivity and inner well-being in the life of a modern person. We sought to create a space where one does not run away from work, but, on the contrary, finds a balance between daily tasks, a busy schedule, and quality rest," say the hotel's creators.
The boutique-style hotel focuses on individual attention, not mass tourism, and offers 32 minimalist-style rooms. The hotel is located in the city center, so the most popular places of the resort are easily accessible on foot or by bike. Although the hotel is designed for business travelers, it is open to anyone looking for a cozy, exclusive and memorable stay experience.

Technologically advanced spaces and the only Mind SPA in Lithuania

The event halls are among the most innovative in the region. Multifunctional, easily transformable spaces of different sizes ("Nemunas Vingis" 300 sq m, "Vingis" 170 sq m, "Nemunas" 130 sq m) are equipped with the latest video and audio equipment for conferences or teamwork.
Advanced audiovisual technologies enable the organization of high-quality international events, screenings, and presentations. Two high-definition projectors and motorized screens, as well as two automatically or manually controlled 4K resolution cameras with 20x optical zoom, are available for events.

The halls have a backlight system with the ability to choose colors according to the event concept or mood. The halls can be connected or separated using acoustic curtains, creating a more intimate environment for smaller events, family celebrations, business meetings or creative sessions.
"LAJOS" co-working spaces are specially adapted for productive work and relaxation. Guests are offered ergonomic, height-adjustable tables, meeting spaces. The aesthetics of the work and relaxation spaces, dominated by large windows overlooking the nature of Birštonas, create a new, unusual work experience and allow for maximum relaxation during breaks.
In addition, the hotel stands out with its unique Mind SPA in Lithuania – a space of movement and peace, designed to enjoy a bright and calming environment, adapted for yoga, pilates, meditation and other practices that complement the traditional wellness services of the resort. The Mind SPA culture will be nurtured here, which emphasizes the importance of mental well-being and offers various practices designed to improve mental activity, reduce stress and strengthen overall emotional health.
