Devil's Cognitive Trail

nature

Visit the Devil's Bog near Prienai. Take a walk on the updated trail. The trail is designed to get acquainted with forest and swamp communities, the most typical plants and animals. It is the only high marsh in the Prienai loop. The marsh resembles a bowl filled with a thick layer of peat in which water accumulates during rain or melting snow. The most important plants in the raised bog are the chemistry. These mosses have no roots. The lower part of the cumin is constantly forgotten and sunk deep. Thus, peat has been formed over many years, which has been mined and used for mud baths in Birštonas health resorts. When the excavation was completed, the natural process of restoring the bog began. Common high marsh plants - bark beetles, marsh harriers, cranberries, narrow-leaved bream, sunflowers. The Devil's Moor is a refuge for live lizards and common vultures. Here you can see or hear the yellow tongue, the great stamen, the brown nine-voice.
