Information on bathing water quality in Birštonas

We would like to inform you that the results of the water quality tests of the Birštonas ponds and the Nemunas River have been received (samples for laboratory tests were taken on August 5).
After the tests, the National Public Health Surveillance Laboratory established that the water meets the requirements of the hygiene standard for bathing in open water bodies in Lithuania. Debris, waste and other floating materials were also not observed.
Water quality monitoring of open water bodies in Birštonas is carried out every two weeks throughout the bathing season.
