On Saturday, a traditional Christmas tree was lit in Biršton - a 12-meter tall green tree decorated with silver bubbles and garlands.

The top of the highest observation tower in Lithuania was illuminated with multi-colored lights. Until now, the tower was illuminated only on special occasions, and from now on, after applying intelligent and economical LED lighting, it will light up all days of the week: from 6 to 8 a.m. in the mornings, 16:00-24:00 in the evenings, and during Christmas and New Year - all night.
A Christmas caravan consisting of festively decorated electric cars and a column of airmen, the symbol of Birštonas resort, also rolled through the resort's streets. Electric cars brought fairy tale characters and Santa Claus directly to the place of celebration - J. Basanavičius square. The airmen's parade through the streets of the resort presented an impressive spectacle unique to Biršton - a fire show. At the Christmas tree, children and adults were delighted by the performance of the Christmas circus director and his assistants.
