"Experience" summer in nature near Birštonas

Even the most timid and computer-obsessed children are often fascinated by new experiences. The knowledge and skills acquired through experience almost unconsciously inspire courage and self-confidence, and the necessity of live communication encourages searching and finding inventive solutions while overcoming new challenges every day, and provides an opportunity to feel a connection with nature, peers and oneself. 26 children carry this experience with them, since June 25. until July 1 who participated in the summer camp "Experience summer in nature" organized by the Youth Association "Patirk", located in the Nemunas kilpai regional park, in Trakelii Birštonas municipality.

In the camp, children aged 7-13 rowed kayaks and paddle boards, participated in creative workshops of ethnic culture, shot archery, overcame an obstacle course and a climbing wall, skated on a rope, built a tower of boxes suspended in the air, learned together the secrets of survival in nature, competed in competitions, played active strategic games. and bathed a lot.

The parents of the campers are happy that during the camp, the children had the opportunity to participate in various activities while living in tents for a week, acquired comprehensive knowledge and skills of physical activity, ethnic culture, survival in nature, communicated a lot with their peers, became more independent and self-confident, and began to consciously appreciate nature and physical physical and emotional health benefits of activity. Although camping in nature had its challenges, the week full of challenges with new friends, indeed, became an unforgettable and valuable experience that the children will share for a long time, and many of them will return here next year.
