Walking tour "Birštonas takais. Getting to know the salt forest"
"Kaunas region on foot 2024" invites you to the third hike of this season in Biršton, on the left bank of the Nemunas, in the salt forest (Alksniakiem).
We will hike the route Birštonas-Druskė miškas-Birštonas, hiking part of the 60th section of the international route "Miško tako".
Date: June 15th
Registration of participants: from 9:30 a.m.
Start of the hike: 10 a.m.
Route length: up to 15 km
Duration: ∼ 4 hours

A hiking guide will help you navigate the route.
It is possible to take the "Birštonas" cable car to the starting point of the hike. The lift will start working from 9 am; the price of the lift per person – 1 EUR.
The price of the hiking ticket is 7 euros, children under 7 years old are free. Minors can hike only when accompanied by adults. Four-legged friends always hike for free.
Tickets are on sale until June 13 at 11:59 p.m. inclusive.
TO PURCHASE A TICKET ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT, THE PRICE IS 10 EUR/PERSON.
