Movie "Homeland"

about

A lyrical coming-of-age drama about a boy who experiences difficult moments of freedom and maturity. It is told from the point of view of a curious twelve-year-old. Shortly after the Iron Curtain comes down, Viktorija, the mother of Kovo, who was born in America, returns to Lithuania with her son. She seeks to recover the land that belonged to her father. Victoria's family is accompanied by the love of her youth on their journey through a country in turmoil. When it turns out that several impoverished families are located on her father's land holdings, she must decide how far Victoria's determination will go to reclaim her past.
