The enchanting sounds of Armenian hunts that are rarely heard in Lithuania and Norayr Kartashyan's mastery create a special quartet sound. Pianist Vahagn Hayrapetyan, one of the best-known Armenian jazz musicians, combines jazz and contemporary harmony with Armenian folk tunes. Vardan Babayan gives Armenian percussion instruments a soft but strong rhythm. The double bassist Makar Novikov creates the basis for the original quartet VAN sound.
