Lina Rastokaitė's solo concert "Music Changed Lithuania" invites you to travel with your heart. In an emotional event, the audience will hear well-known music that changed Lithuania in its time. There will be songs by Vytautas Kernagis, Hyperbole, songs from Velnios natakas and other Lithuanian musicals, as well as songs based on the poems of Algimantas Baltakis, Antanas Miškinis, Paulius Širvis and works by contemporary composers. The music will be accompanied by cheerful stories about the life of Lithuanian creators.
"We all grew up with these songs, lived through them, sang them countless times. They changed not only us, but also Lithuania. I will tell the audience how it happened. And I will also read funny, spicy stories from the lives of musicians and poets. You will find out what Širvys talked about with an unknown passenger on the train, what creative sufferings Vytautas Kernagis experienced, what mystical and inexplicable things happened during the production of The Devil's Bride and where on Earth the paradise seen in the musical was filmed, and many other interesting facts," says the performer.
However, the audience will immerse themselves not only in lyrical, calm nostalgia. There will also be real musical guesses and jokes, dynamic and exciting. A wide variety of genres and emotions and many colors await.
