The museum is hosting a mobile exhibition "Features of the Kaišiadorii Fine Folk Art" prepared by the Kaišiadori Museum, which focuses on the 20th century. The first part is devoted to folk art, its research and iconographic legacy. Folk art is characterized by the unity of religious and aesthetic values, simplicity, and adherence to traditions. Most examples of cross-stitching were recorded before 1940. In the photographs of A. Varna, B. Burač and others.

The exhibition uses rich iconographic historical material from the Kaišiadori Museum, the Lithuanian National Museum, the Lithuanian National Art Museum, the National MK Čiurlionis Art Museum, the Vytautas Great War Museum, the Maironis Museum of Lithuanian Literature, the Šiauliai "Aušros" Museum, the Žemaičiai Diocese Museum, Lithuanian archives and libraries.

Crosses and chapels in the 19th century. - 20th century in the first half, it had a special significance not only in the life of an individual person, but also in the life of the nation, it formed and was a reflection of the specific features of the region's landscape. During the years of occupation, it became an expression of national identity, representing the spiritual culture of the population. Craftsmen's skills and perception of beauty were revealed in cross-stitching.

For years, the everyday life of a provincial person revolved between the house, the surrounding fields and forests. However, in addition to permanent work, man was also concerned with the spiritual world, where faith and artistic creation were manifested.
