20 years ago - in 2004 March 29 - Lithuania became a full member of NATO.
Let's come together and show our solidarity and unity. Let us demonstrate the understanding that together with our allies we are strong, that NATO is us. We ourselves create and contribute to the security of our country - each of us and our allies in Lithuania.
We invite the entire community of Birštonas to celebrate this important anniversary together - let's raise the Lithuanian and NATO flags.
Festive greetings and a solemn flag-raising ceremony will take place in Birštonas municipality square.
