Birštonas Dvarelis is a home of authentic experiences and education, located just 10 kilometers from Birštonas, in the village of Jundeliškės. Here you will experience the cultural rituals, customs and traditions of the Panemunė Dzūkija region, the importance of crafts, folk songs and dances, folklore, and culinary heritage. You will get to know the hospitable people of Panemunė Dzūkija, who will treat you to the delicacies of their region, tell you how they are excellent at making Lithuanian mead, singing songs passed down by their elders, and nurturing traditions.
The exclusive culinary heritage education “Dzūkiška vaišiai” and “Lithuanian mead” tasting invites you on an unforgettable journey to get acquainted with the traditions of the Dzūkija region. A real gourmet experience awaits you at the village homestead “Birštono dvarelis”: you will be able to taste and fully enjoy ancient, authentic dishes cooked in a clay oven, and during the education you will hear the history of the origin of these dishes. At the same time, you will taste “Lithuanian mead” – a unique Lithuanian drink, which is well known today in international markets. You will learn how this ancient drink, which has become a true “ambassador” abroad, originated and how it is made. You will not only feel the taste, but you will also hear the story that reveals old traditions, you will also experience Lithuanian hospitality, and you will appreciate the generosity of the Dzūki people.
Group education and additional services
Groups of at least 20 people are accepted for our training courses.
For large groups, we offer not only education, but also additional services to make your visit full of excitement and active entertainment. Choose one or more of the following programs:
• Excursion - an innovative tour in tourist electric cars around the little diamond of Lithuania, Birštonas. During it, you will be able to learn about and admire the history and nature of this resort town.
• A bicycle tour that will allow you to explore the surroundings of Birštonas and get acquainted with exceptional landscapes.
• A canoe trip on the Verkne River, where you will relax and experience an adventure in nature.
• Business meetings in non-traditional environments.
Education for everyone – from little ones to adults! The building is suitable for both families with children and seniors seeking to experience new discoveries.
