STAKLIŠKĖS

On 23rd August 2007 the staff of the TIC set off for another trip. This time the route wandered to Stakliškės Mead Factory which is famous for its unique drinks also representing Birštonas resort – mead "Birštonas" and mead nectar "Birštonas". The route also included Stakliškės St. Trinity church which bears a picture by N.Silvanavičius.
Cognitive – tasting tours are very popular all over Europe. A good news for tourist – in a very near future the factory producing the original Lithuanian drink is going to built Visitors' Centre with tasting hall where not only the production will be presented but also the whole history of the drink and materials.
