CHRONICLE OF 2007

In 2007 TIC of Birštonas celebrated its first anniversary. Incidentally, the celebration took place in premises which are currently undergoing redecoration. The most important events during the period of our activity were the opening of Birštonas Pier, visits from English, French and Polish journalists; the organisation of infotours for representatives of the Lithuanian travel business, Palanga guides, businessmen of the Širvintos region and representatives of German tourism companies; a visit to Širvintos, participation in leisure activities, initiation of a new cultural route, and participation in the contest for successful tourism projects, where a special award “Sėkmės angelas” (“Good Luck Angel”) was received. We would like to thank everyone who helped to make the days of 2007 interesting and pleasant.
