LET’S MEET THE AUTUMN WITH DAHLIA

In the XIXth century, the first dahlia blossoms from Saint Petersburg were brought to Lithuania - to Ustronė manor located in the neighborhood of Birštonas. On 11 September 2010, Stanislovas Moravskis (actor Andrius Žiurauskas) invited to recall the history of dahlias in Lithuanian and rejoice at their mottled blossoms when listening to the works of romanticism era (musicians Olga Majorova and Vladimiras Majorovas).

In the meanwhile, Birštonas accordion choir "Solo Plius" was playing joyful melodies for the gathered crowd.
