Representatives of Israeli tourism agencies visited Birštonas

Jovita Tirvienė, Director of the Birštonas Municipality Administration, introduced the guests to the history of the resort, presented the uniqueness of Birštonas in the fields of health and tourism, future plans and the development of cooperation with foreign partner cities.

Rūta Kapačinskaitė, the director of the Birštonas Tourism Information Center, answered many questions from Israelis in detail. The guests were actively interested in aviation , the traditional jazz music festival "Birštonas" , excursions organized in the resort, health and wellness services provided here, the adaptation of infrastructure for children and even fishing.

We hope that the situation of COVID-19 in the world will improve and Birštonas resort will receive more and more foreign guest delegations, thus developing the sphere of tourism and making Birštonas famous in the world!
