"Minecraft" is a computer game that was released in 2011. In the first versions, it was a simple game based on cube graphics, the popularity of which faded over time. However, this game was resurrected and popularized successfully. Now there is not a single child or teenager in the world who does not know what Minecraft is. It is even successfully included in the teaching methods of some schools due to its educational properties. Currently, there are discussions about the inclusion of "Minecraft" in the teaching methods of Lithuanian schools and non-formal education of children. During the pandemic, some of the more inventive teachers from abroad created entire classrooms where both the teacher and the students participated in the lessons in real time within the framework of the game. The teacher wrote on the virtual board and the students took notes in their virtual notebooks. All this is very interesting, but summer is the time when you need to be away from the computer.
Our innovative team took on the grandiose task of bringing the story of this amazing and immersive game to real life, a 7-day camp in nature. Campers will make their own in-game gear, perform various team and individual tasks, during which resources will be collected and accumulated, which can be exchanged for in-game tools, souvenirs and more at certain times.
During this strategic game, children will be accompanied by familiar game characters and will hear terms used in the game. This is a completely new type of camp, where the well-known and favorite game of children becomes a real adventure. The tasks will also include activities such as: kayaking, archery, orienteering and survival, mountaineering and more.
Excitement, fatigue and good mood GUARANTEED. All this will take place in the forest on the banks of the Nemunas, at the Patirk campsite.
