June 14th – International Gin Day and a cozy saxophone evening!
On Saturday evening, our restaurant will host an exclusive gastronomic experiment – “Botanical Guestshift”! This series of events travels to various bars and restaurants in Lithuania, inviting you to discover the richness of nature and its invaluable contribution to the creation of gin and other drinks.
Martynas Paukštys, the ambassador of The Botanist gin in Lithuania, will be a guest on June 14, starting at 8:00 PM, and will present an exclusive cocktail menu inspired by the eighteenth ingredient of The Botanist gin - TANNING (Tanacetum vulgare).
The Botanist gin uses short-stemmed bittersweet flowers. It is a powerful, strong-character botanical that is used with great care in gin production due to its intensity.
Bitterness: This is one of the most prominent characteristics of bittersweet – an intense, long-lasting bitterness that can be reminiscent of vermouth or amaro. The flowers of bittersweet have a mild aftertaste of camphor or even eucalyptus.
