Arts Libera International organizes the North-Baltic children's and youth project "Play for Future". The main partner and sponsor of the project is the Nordic Council of Ministers' Office in Lithuania. Project participants and partners - Nordic music group "Bandingo", Alytus Youth Center, Kėdainiai Music School and Birštonas Art School.
During the event, there will be meetings, creative-educational workshops, concerts, in which the band Bandingo, consisting of Danish, Norwegian and Lithuanian musicians, will share good experience and professional skills with children and youth of the above-mentioned cities. This project is very important and interesting for Lithuania, because it integrates educational, social and cultural themes into a whole and is aimed at the younger generation. The project envisages that music will be used as a tool to strengthen and develop the activity, awareness, motivation and creativity of young people and their desire to shape modern society. Young people in smaller Lithuanian cities have fewer opportunities to meet peers from other countries, learn new things, experience new learning methods, improve skills and raise awareness.
After assessing the complex epidemiological situation and in order to avoid possible risks to the health of the participants, the project events will take place remotely. It is a new challenge for organizers and participants, but it is also a new opportunity to adapt modern communication tools and technologies and make this project even more innovative and long-term oriented.
