about
Kaunas Piano Trio invites you to an evening of music that will resemble a dreamy-sounding and melodic nocturne.
A romantic musical aura with heard and undiscovered music
On November 8 (Saturday), at 7 p.m., the Kaunas Piano Trio will create a bright musical sound environment in the Birštonas Kurhaus Hall:
Lina Krėpštaitė – piano
Indrė Andruškevičiūtė – violin
Asta Krištaponienė – cello
The concert program will reveal the lyricism, introspection and subtle spirituality of music inspired by nature. It will also feature the romantically delicate Trio of Swedish organist and composer Elfrida Andrée, Edward Grieg's Andante, Arvo Pärt, who is celebrating his anniversary this year, will "bow" to Mozart, and we will recognize Lithuanian hearings from the meandering melodies of MK Čiurlionis and Giedrius Kuprevičius in the Nocturne and Prelude in Memory of MK Čiurlionis. Let's dedicate one Saturday evening in November to a conversation with the bend of the Nemunas River, chamber music and the mysterious spirit of the Birštonas Kurhaus. It will be bright, noble and romantic.
The Baltic and Nordic Music Festival, which started in Kaunas a year ago, continues its journey. "When everything around is so diverse and diverse, we want to unite and talk about countries, their people, and the creativity that reaches us from the Baltic and Nordic countries. Over the centuries, thousands of pages have been written about our history, creative achievements that the whole world enjoys. What makes us unique, what do we have that is valuable and bright? With such a mini, music arrives, the chamber nature of which will allow us to feel the cozy spirit of music-making that prevailed in the Romantic era, the close connection between those who play and those who listen to music," - this is how the ensemble's pianist Lina Krėpštaitė presents the program of the upcoming concert.
Kaunas Piano Trio often travels with various musical programs in Lithuania and, it seems, knows the recipe for a successful concert and meeting with the audience. The concert program will be dreamy, reminiscent of autumn, but serene. It will reveal the lyricism of music inspired by nature, introspection and subtle spirituality. The romantically subtle and at the same time virtuosic Trio of the Swedish organist and composer Elfrida Andrée will sound, the melodious Andante of Edward Grieg, and the Estonian composer Arvo Pärt, who is celebrating his anniversary this year, will “bow” to Mozart. We will also hear Lithuanian works – MK Čiurlionis’ Nocturne and Giedrius Kuprevičius’ Prelude in Memory of MK Čiurlionis .

Let's dedicate one Saturday evening in November to a conversation with the bend of the Nemunas River, chamber music and the secret spirit of Birštonas Kurhaus. It will be bright, noble and romantic.
