In 1926, in the Australian town of Dangatare, schoolboy Stuart Petiman dies of unknown causes. The only witness to his death is Mirta Danij. She becomes the prime suspect and is hauled out of town. 25 years later, Mirta, now a famous dress designer, returns to her hometown to take care of her sick mother. The inhabitants of the town are not satisfied with her return. While they try to harm her, she tries to prove her innocence at the same time. This is a stylish drama with comic love experiences, revenge and retribution for bad deeds.
