Movie "The Grand Budapest Hotel"
Somewhere in the middle of Europe, in the country of Zubrovka, against the backdrop of the mountains stands a huge pink, cloaked hotel "Great Budapest". 1968 was not the best time for him. A famous writer is staying at this hotel, whose curiosity at the dinner table provokes the administrator Gustav to reminisce about the hotel's heyday. Mr. Gustav could do everything for his guests. Impeccable service was also demanded from others. In this way, the owner of the hotel not only earned the respect of the employees and the friendliness of the guests, but even received the legacy of a former guest - a Renaissance painting. However, the deceased's relatives are also waiting for him.
It is an allusion to a Europe bathed in luxury, which, ignoring reality, lived in illusions of peace and optimism. The film was awarded the "Silver Bear" at this year's Berlinale. (N-16).
