In 1973, a young gallery assistant, James, is hired to help Salvador Dalí organize a major exhibition of his works in New York. However, instead of learning the tricks of the art world from the master, James plunges deeper and deeper into the artist's complicated world - Dalí and Gala's marriage collapses, and the painter turns out to be completely dependent on his exploitative colleagues. "Daliland" is not only an ode to the most famous surrealist of the 20th century, but also a critical analysis of the corrupt art world.
