Burlesque Lounge's glory days are long gone. Tessa (played by Cher), a former dancer and owner of the club, fights to save the club. But it's not easy: the club has been overlooked by a rich man, and the troupe members are preoccupied with personal problems and care little about the show. Just then, Elle (actress Christina Aguilera), a girl from a small town in Iowa, appears in the club. Tessa hires her as a waitress, but the girl instantly falls in love with the art of burlesque. Now Elle has a dream to get on stage and dedicate her life to burlesque. Unfortunately, Tessa about Elle's dreams doesn't want to hear it at all. However, the stubborn girl, with the help of new friends in the troupe, finds herself in the limelight and surprises not only Tessa, but also the audience. The situation changes dramatically when Elle's powerful voice becomes the main focus of Burlesque Lounge performances.
