An exclusive evening with the quartet of guitarist and composer Mindaugas Stumbras, presenting his latest album "The Spinner of Yarns". This is a musical journey in which jazz improvisations intertwine with the colors of world music, subtle melodies, expressive improvisations and contemporary harmonies. "The Spinner of Yarns" is the author's latest work. It is a sonic weave, where each composition becomes a separate story, inspired by life experiences, musical encounters and inner searches. But that's not all - the evening will also feature works already loved by the audience from the previously released albums "Among the Pines" and "Inspirations", allowing the listener to feel the full spectrum of the artist's work - from gentle acoustic sounds to intense jazz improvisations.
After the concert, you will be the first to purchase a new vinyl record with the artists' autographs.

Mindaugas Stumbras is a talented jazz guitarist and composer, able to subtly combine elements of jazz and world music. His work clearly reflects the influence of various cultures, and improvisation is one of the most important principles of his artistic expression. During his career, Stumbras has performed at famous European jazz festivals and clubs. In 2015, together with Belgian guitarist Chris Ruebens, he released a guitar duet album "Strung Out". In 2022, the Lithuanian Music Information Center published a collection of Mindaugas's sheet music for solo guitar "Gitaros ezizai", and in 2025, a Belgian publishing house published a guitar duet sheet music publication with works by Stumbras and Ruebens. Stumbras actively performs with his quartet/trio, is one of the founders of the group "Brave Noises", and also creates music for various ensembles, orchestras and big bands, and arranges works for larger groups. The works of jazz masters, as well as nature, everyday experiences and social phenomena, are important in his work. Constantly experimenting with various genres, he remains faithful to the art of improvisation - a fundamental element of his musical identity.
