Literary exhibition "The Resort's Letters to His Doctor"

On June 1, honorary citizen of Birštonas Municipality, spa specialist Dr. Vytautas Jurgis Meškas (1930–2015) would have turned 95 years old.

Dr. Vytautas Jurgis Meška is a famous doctor, scientist, and one of the pioneers of Lithuanian balneology. His activities are inseparable from the development of the Birštonas resort – for many years he studied the properties of mineral water and healing mud, and promoted health care using natural resources.

On this occasion, a literary exhibition "Resort Letters to His Doctor" was prepared at the Birštonas Public Library, on the first floor, to honor and remember this distinguished personality.
