International Wood Carver Plein Air
October 4 An international woodcarving plein air begins in Birštonas, in which ten professional teams from Lithuania and Poland promise to participate. The plein air will take place until October 9. At the entrances to the beastly forest. The created sculptures will decorate the bicycle and pedestrian path in the Žvėrinčius forest.
A quick carving show will be held on Saturday, October 9, from 10 a.m. to noon, during which sculptures created will be available for auction.
The plein air is organized within the framework of the Lithuanian-Polish cross-border co-operation program project “Common History - Common Routes”, No. LT-PL-4R-293.
