Back to the past or Museum Night in Birštonas
Have you heard? On May 17, during the European Museum Night, the walls of Birštonas Museum will also speak. The heroes of history are returning to their homes to meet you face to face.
Here's how we'll travel through time:
At 6:00 p.m., a theatrical performance in the museum courtyard (Vytauto St. 9) will transport you to the ancient times of the resort. The performance "He Rushed" by the Jieznas KLC amateur theater "Žaltvykslė" based on Marija Alytienė (directed by Angelė Jaruševičienė).
At 8:00 PM you will step across the threshold into the past. An experiential tour during which you will be welcomed inside the museum by:
• The owner of the villa is forester Antanas Katelė and his wife.
• Resort dentist Ignas Šablauskas, who probably won't ask when you last visited the dentist.
• The elegantly mysterious resort owner Kochanovskaya-Miller.
At 10:00 PM, the museum walls will speak into the night. Open the doors and let the past whisper its secrets...
