Ignas Šoliūnas – Erase for Prosperity?

The album is based on the principles of magnetic tape composition. Its roots of inspiration touch on the greats of American minimalism, such as Terry Riley, La Monte Young, Charlemagne Palestine, Steve Reich, and the rising stars of post-minimalism, such as Kali Malone and Ellen Arkbro. Last year, this album was mainly performed as an audiovisual dance performance produced by the interdisciplinary contemporary theater "Bloom Theory Theatre". This year, the composer focuses all his attention on music. On stage you will see a system of modular synthesizers, a magnetic tape player, a pair of keyboard synthesizers, and when you close your eyes you will be immersed in a state of weightlessness.

"The deep landscapes created by slowly pulsating synthesizers pleasantly fill the listener's entire field and don't let go until the last second." - Pasigarsink, Dovydas Pėkus.

Ignas Šoliūnas is an electroacoustic music composer who has completed his master's degree in composition at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. His work encompasses the fields of drone music, contemporary and improvisational music. The music of this composer seeks to transport the listener to a state of weightlessness and lightness - it encourages him to forget about the weight of his body and thoughts. The composer's field of work is the composition of structured improvisation. In his music, Ignas explores the structures of American minimalism and post-minimalism. True, all of the young composer's experiments and research are carefully applied to these times - his works are dominated by a subtle, yet complex harmony of electronic analog instruments and acoustic instruments.

Domantas Pūras – Like an Underground River

“Like an Underground River” is the debut double album by composer Domantas Pūras, which intertwines organ and electronic soundscapes with drone and ambient music influences. The composition pays tribute to MK Čiurlionis, reimagining his harmonic language and weaving it into a slowly unfolding sonic narrative. The album was recorded in three unique acoustic spaces - the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm, the Church of St. Casimir in Vilnius and the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre - and creates an immersive listening experience. Meditative tranquility and dissonant intensity alternate, while resonant, multi-layered sound textures invite the listener to explore the fusion of past and present.

"With Like an Underground River, Pūras pays tribute to his roots and charts the path for the future of electroacoustic music, inviting us all to listen to history, art, and the ever-flowing river of sound." - Nick, The Third Eye

Composer Domantas Pūras has adapted this album for an electronic music program especially for this tour. The work will be performed using analog synthesizers.
