Pianist Ieva Dūdaitė presents her biggest solo tour: will visit 11 cities
One of the country's most famous pianists, Ieva Dūdaitė, has great news for her fans - in the fall she will embark on the largest solo tour in Lithuania, during which she will visit 11 cities: Klaipėda, Birštonas, Ukmergė, Šiauliai, Utena, Jurbarka, Telšiai, Kretinga, Panevėžys, Tauragė and Šilutė.
Over the past year and a half, Ieva Dūdaitė has repeatedly proven that she is not afraid to step outside her comfort zone. She presented her first piece in which she not only plays but also sings, tried her hand at the project "Musical Mask", and became the first pianist in the history of the country to hold a solo arena tour.
The pianist, who breaks the standards of the piano concert, organized a show "Piano Summer" in Palanga on the eve of Žoliniai, which featured the program of the historic "Grand Piano Show" tour. During the performance, the pianist revealed to the audience that she will organize a new tour in the fall and visit as many as 11 cities.
"Grand Piano Show was the fulfillment of my childhood dream, but it's time for new challenges. In the fall, I will organize my biggest tour in Lithuania and visit 11 cities and towns. With this tour, I want to return to acoustic concerts, an intimate environment in smaller halls, and create a warm, genuine and personal connection with the audience," says I. Dūdaitė.
During the acoustic tour, the pianist will play the illuminated piano seen in the "Grand Piano Show" performances, which will create a romantic atmosphere. She will be accompanied on stage by a cello, and the program will include world-famous works and I. Dūdaitė's own work.
The pianist will begin the tour on October 28 and end on November 29, visiting 11 Lithuanian cities and towns in just over a month: Klaipėda, Birštonas, Ukmergė, Šiauliai, Utena, Jurbarka, Telšiai, Kretinga, Panevėžys, Tauragė and Šilutė. All tickets are distributed by Bilietai.lt.
