An exhibition of photographs from the youth of Birštonietis, one of the most talented filmmakers of the mature generation in the restored Independence - cinematographer Audrius Kemežis (1973-2018).
About the exhibition
A look at the early attempts of acclaimed cinematographer Audrius Kemežis to record the world around him. The exhibition exhibits about 60 photographs created while attending the Birštonas photography club and later, while studying in Vilnius. "These are extraordinary works, distinguished by special subtlety. Every photo, no matter how soft or sharp it is, creates an emotional field around itself. Audrius' photos need to be felt," says Povilas Veteris, the creator of the exhibition, head of the Varpas photo studio of the Birštonas Cultural Center, to whom A. Kemežys left his archive of photographs.
The exhibition will be open every day from 10:00 to 21:00. until December 5
