Anelė Zurlienė's selection of selected bands
Four dozen ribbons, men's ties in which the author weaves poetry or prayer texts. These strips are designed to adorn the home space. It is fascinating that a woman has been paying to weave since childhood, and the centenary of the Lithuanian state has stimulated the revival of the activity.
Anelė Zurlienė was born near Birštonas in Stakliškės. She has worked hard and responsibly in her life as a medic, and weaving and literary creation make her life as a human being meaningful and provides an opportunity to make happy people around her happy. The author has published four books, and the exhibition features the recently published book "The Unrecognized", which is dedicated to the memory of the baptismal mother Rozalia, who learned the subtleties of weaving.
