We are baking cookies

education / cultural passport

We will make little cakes - we will knead the dough, roll it, cut it and bake it. Mastery in the kitchen will bring a large family together. We will talk about Christmas traditions: how we decorate the table, how many and what kind of food we put on it. Each hostess bakes the buns differently - bigger, smaller, with or without poppy seeds. Oh, and they call it very differently: przekučiai, sližikai, kleckučiai... We will discuss what are the traditions of little houses in foreign countries, what makes Lithuanian little houses special? Or maybe your family has its own house traditions, what could they be in your future? It's fun to bake, it's fun to taste. We will taste it traditionally with poppy milk. Poppy milk is one of the most archaic flavors of Christmas Eve. Christmas Eve - St. The Eve of the Christmas Miracle, the Feast of Reconciliation and Sacrifice. For children, it is also a time of secrets, spells and games. We will learn spells, play and wait for Christmas and St. Christmas joy.
