A delegation from Norway visited Birštona

Today, Norway is a potential inbound tourism market for Lithuanian tourism, as well as for Birštonas resort, so it is important to strengthen international cooperation in the field of tourism, to present the potential of Birštonas resort.
On the initiative of Norwegian Honorary Consul Carl Thomas Carlsten, a delegation of tourism specialists was invited to practically assess the health infrastructure of the Birštonas resort. During the stay, tourism specialists provided practical insights in presenting the therapeutic and spa potential to the Norwegian market. The most important objects of the resort were presented to the delegation: sanatoriums and spa centers of Birštonas, places of interest.

We hope that the number of tourists from Norway will increase after this visit. in 2022 the average length of stay of Norwegian tourists in Biršton was 3.1 nights in 2019. - 3.2.
